Milford K-Kids Soup Drive!

Milford K-Kids soup drive collecting soup for the Milford Food Pantry now through March 11th. Items can be dropped off at Milford Elementary School.

Join us for a fun-filled summer packed with weekly themes, outdoor play, exploration, and engaging activities for infants through school-age children. Camp includes free breakfast, lunch, and a snack, and childcare vouchers are accepted.

Programs are offered at Syracuse, Milford, and North Webster Elementary Schools.

We offer kid‑favorite choices, whole grains, fruit, and milk, with easy service options like grab‑and‑go to fit busy mornings. If your family qualifies for free or reduced‑price meals, breakfast is included; all families are welcome to participate. Lakeland Youth Center invites boys and girls in Kindergarten through 6th Grade to join our NFL Spring Flag Football season.
Divisions:
PeeWee (K–1st)
Intermediate (2nd–3rd)
Junior (4th–6th)

Season Dates: April 18 – May 23, 2026
Games are played on Saturday mornings at Wawasee Middle School and conclude with playoffs and a Super Bowl championship.
Cost:
$60 for the first child
Team shirts, belts, and flags are provided. Cleats are suggested but not required.

Boys Swimming ends their historic season at State!

The boys swim team qualified 7 events for the State Meet at the IU Natatorium in Indy this past weekend. As a team the Warriors sent 4 events back to finals on Saturday. 88 schools from across the state had swimmers represented at the meet and Wawasee finished 16th overall in the team standings! The 400 Freestyle Relay team set a school record, 3:09.46, in prelims and earned their way to the podium on Saturday for an 8th place finish. It was the first podium spot for the boys swim team since 2003! Here are the full results for our Warriors!

200 Freestyle Relay - seeded 28th, finished 25th! JC Miretti, Zack Kryder, Jace Stewart, Noah Mettham
100 Backstroke - Layclan Saylor finished 23rd in the state!
500 Freestyle - Coltin Bucher with a great swim to finish 27th in the state!

Making it back for finals on Saturday were the following events:
200 Medley Relay - 12th in the state! Layclan Saylor, Martin Durci, JC Miretti, Owen Mettham
50 Freestyle - Owen Mettham 16th in the state!
100 Freestyle - Owen Mettham missed the podium by .03 seconds & finishes 11th in the state!
400 Freestyle Relay - School record in prelims and finishes on the podium for 8th place! Noah Mettham, JC Miretti, Layclan Saylor, Owen Mettham

Great job Warriors. See you next season!
